Jason Dill, the man behind super dope streetwear label Fucking Awesome appeared in the DVS skate video "Skate More" back in 2005 and tore shit up, literally. As I was scoping out some old skate viddy's the other day, I saw this and figured it's such classic footage, why not post it up. Check it out.

Hockey Holidaze!
This year's NHL Winter Classic is at Fenway Park in Boston...The Green Monster! The beef continues as the Boston Bruins host the Philadelphia Flyers on New Years Day in the great outdoors. As always, it's going to exceed expectations! I remember the fun of last years classic at Wrigley Field. Next up, Yankee Stadium, Islanders vs Rangers in a cross-state rivalry, New Years Day 2011. Trust me!
Happy Holidays!

Snowed In
This weekend was madness as far as the weather was concerned in the Tri-State area. Lot's and lot's of snow fell in NYC. Check out these photos from good fella John Prolly. He took these Friday night as he attempted to go for a six pack of Bud at the nearby bodega in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Bruuutal!

Why?
These signs are way too common in Miami-Dade County. And the Bicycle Plan the City of Miami just passed won't be complete till 2030. Cycling in this city is like playing Russian Roulette and it shall remain that way for the next 20+ years.

Roger Daltrey/The Who Live @ Hard Rock
Last week on a Sunday night my beloved sister and I went to see the world famous Roger Daltrey of 'The Who' at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood. I was pretty excited to hit up this show as I have never seen him perform, and being that he is a musical genius I was more than ready.
It was an early show which started at 7pm and ended at 9pm. The crowd, mostly in their 40's-60's, were singing along to classics such as "My Generation", "Behind Blue Eyes", "Baba O'Riley", "Who Are You" and countless others. Roger, still sounding like he did when he was in his 20's, was sick as a dog and had to keep drinking hot liquid to keep from singing out of tune, but that didn't make a difference, he was still awesome! They rocked it! I was hoping to hear him perform "Eminence Front" or "The Seeker" but to no avail. All in all it was a very fun show and a delight to see one of the worlds greatest musicians. Be sure to check out 'The Who' perform live @ the Super Bowl this year. Check out some photos we took below. View the setlist here.

Mega-billia
This past weekend I went to Hard Rock Live with my sister to see Roger Daltrey of 'The Who' perform (will review soon). It was my first time at Hard Rock Live/Casino up in Broward. Really cool place, very touristy, but anyway first thing I see as we walk in is Megadeth memorabilia up on the wall. Nothing from Dave Mustaine which sucks, but they did have stuff from original founding member/bassist David Ellefson. And being that I just saw them live, what a better time to post this blog! Enjoy!

Megadeth Live @ Revolution Re-Cap
Last night on a rainy Thanksgiving eve, Megadeth was in town to tear the roof off club Revolution in Ft Lauderdale. Thousands showed up...in droves! It was a real solid show, however, the promoters were idiots to have such a huge headliner perform in such a small, tiny venue, WTF!? Even though it was probably one of the best shows I've been to in a while, it really sucked that it was wall to wall people, not to mention the fact that everyone there was over 6.8" tall hence major view obstruction everywhere you turn! You really had to scout out a good spot, however once my crew and I were strapped in, there was no turning back! Megadeth and Co. played a great set. New stuff off the 'Endgame' album was played along with all the proper classics, snarls and smart remarks! See below for a few pics. Check out the setlist here.

Great Marketing
Check out this eBay auction for some Campy cranks...Talk about a diversion! Makes you forget what the hell you were searching for in the first place! Anyway, the seller is obviously some college dude (see keg tap for sale) in need of some extra party cash, with plenty of pull for hot chicks! Be sure to check out his other items for more ummm, bike parts?

That Wall
When I was a teenager back during the early 90's and was still in high school, Miami Beach Senior High, this wall was my drawing board for my graffiti escapades. I remember owning that wall along with my old crew, Jason, Zach, Patrick and Guido. Every once and a while I ride my bike there and just sit there and visualize a younger me, there at that wall painting like the carefree teen I used to be. Wow, how times have changed. As you can see, it's still being painted by the new breed of kids out there doing/experiencing the same thing I did back in my days. Aaahhhh youth! How times have changed my friends.

Story of my life
My daily commute is a nightmare, this is why I ride a bicycle whenever I can. Driving in Miami has to be one of the worst experiences one could encounter in life. Seriously!
Notice the "0" on the MPH counter...ughhh.
EDIT: I will keep updating this post with various pics of the notorious mess that is Miami traffic.
