Eat Here Not There

'Eat Here Not There' is DQM's first skate video. The Bowery skate shop made a promo video introducing their new skate team and since DQM store owner Dave used to skate for Zoo York, it has the same feel as some of their videos with quality footage of NYC's most well known skate spots and skaters. Filmed during last spring/summer, they managed to produce a real nice end result. DQM sums it all up for you below;

HUF

Keith Hufnagel is an original player to the fullest. He's one of the original NYC skaters that was part of the Supreme and Zoo York crews during the early 90's and has appeared in only the best skate videos in existence. During the summer of 2002, Keith opened his first store in San Francisco and named it 'HUF'. Ever since then they have been known for their quality goods such as skateboards, clothing, accessories and other interesting collaborations with respectable brands such as Nike, New Era, Reebok, Vans, Adidas, and the list goes on. The success of the next few years that followed allowed Keith to open two other locations throughout California. These days the 'HUF' brand is focused on their new footwear line which will be dropping sometime in June. Save the banks!

Last weekend was the "Save The Banks Jam" at the soon to be closed Brooklyn Banks. Presented by Fuel TV, hundreds of people showed up to skate, bike and chill at the coveted spot and to pay their respects to one of the best skate/BMX locales in NYC. For over two decades many have religiously met up there for sessions and bragging rights, and has been featured in just about every skate video. The NYC DOT is supposedly using the Banks as a staging area for construction of the Brooklyn Bridge which won't be completed till 2014. Sour Dill

Jason Dill, the man behind super dope streetwear label Fucking Awesome appeared in the DVS skate video "Skate More" back in 2005 and tore shit up, literally. As I was scoping out some old skate viddy's the other day, I saw this and figured it's such classic footage, why not post it up. Check it out.
